6. Wall-E
7. 40 Year-old Virgin

Michael Jackson Dies
by Carol on Jun.25, 2009, under Entertainment
It is with sadness that I tell you that Michael Jackson has passed away. One of my role models as a child. I had the Off The Wall & Thriller albums and I danced to both of them. His music and dancing inspired me. I will miss him.
Walter Gretzky Street Hockey Tournament
by Carol on Jun.07, 2009, under Entertainment, Personal
I was at the 3rd Annual Walter Gretzky Street Hockey Tournament in Brantford, ON on Saturday June 6th, 2009. Director Kevin Smith was there with his posse.
It was quite fun and I got a lot of pictures of Puck U. You can find my pics over on flickr.
Later that evening we saw Kevin perform a live Smodcast with Scott Mosier at the Sanderson Theatre in downtown Brantford, ON. It was hilarious (as always).

Dear Bill, I am concerned that you have been losing touch with reality recently.
LeVar Burton tweetup
by Carol on Mar.02, 2009, under Computers and the Internets, Entertainment, Personal
I follow @levarburton on Twitter and noticed he was coming to Toronto today. He’s going to be doing an interview with George on The Hour tomorrow.
LeVar decided to do an impromptu tweetup @ Hemingway’s in Yorkville. Well, I ran my butt up there and got to meet him, shake his hand and got a picture of the 2 of us. w00t!

Ricardo Montalban RIP
by Carol on Jan.14, 2009, under Entertainment
Ricardo Montalban has passed away at the age of 88 in Los Angeles. To most people he is remembered as Mr. Roarke from Fantasy Island. To nerds he is remembered as Kahn from Star Trek (TV and the Wrath of Kahn movie). My favourite is probably Naked Gun. He was absolutely wonderfully evil in that movie.

Sandra Bernard on Sarah Plain
by Carol on Sep.20, 2008, under Entertainment, Politics
There is a clip of Sandra Bernhard talking about Sarah Palin. Google Video – Sandra Bernard in Without You I’m Nothing
Now you got Uncle Women, like Sarah Palin, who jumps on the s–t and points her fingers at other women. Turncoat b—h! Don’t you f–kin’ reference Old Testament, bitch! You stay with your new Goyish crappy shiksa funky bulls–t! Don’t you touch my Old Testament, you b—h! Because we have left it open for interpre-ta-tion! It is no longer taken literally! You whore in your f–kin’ cheap New Vision cheap-ass plastic glasses and your [sneering voice] hair up. A Tina Fey-Megan Mullally brokedown bulls–t moment.
Bernhard is awesome.
She has also said some other outrageous stuff which isn’t in this video. The big headline is that she said: Palin Would Be Gang-Raped By Blacks in Manhattan
She may have crossed the line with that one, but she always has crossed the line. Why would she be different now?
A sad day

Today (September 1st, 2008) is the last day for Star Trek: The Experience. I was lucky to go a few weeks ago. I quite enjoyed it and it is too bad that Cedar Fair Entertainment and the Hilton couldn’t reach an agreement.
