Gomery Report

So the Gomery Report is out. Many people are upset. I am too, but really I don't care any more. I am just too complacent. I'm not a fan of Jean Chretein or Paul Martin, but hey they're better then Brian Mulroney or Stephen Harper in my opinion.

Madonna Still Rules!

According to CNN Madonna stole the show last night at the European MTV Awards. I watched the performance last night. It was fantastic! I can't wait to get the whole album!

Christmas Elections suck

So Jack is thinking of pulling the plug on the government. Not a brilliant move at this point. Nobody wants an election in the winter let alone on Christmas. Also his party holds the balance of power at this point, if he was to pull the plug he would have no power left cause people are going to vote for the damn Conservatives and the bastards will win.

Yippee Yay!

So the Intelligent Design Pennsylvania school board members are out! Thank goodness! Unfortunately a Kansas school board has now voted in favour of the alternative to evolution. Dumb, stupid, grumble, grumble...

Remembrance Day

IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Fight for the little people

A stay at home mom has created a web site that alerts the government about allegedly dangerous environmental problems in the Waterloo area. She is now being sued by the company for $2 million. What a bunch of assholes. This poor woman now will have to pay for legal fees even if she wins. I hope she counter sues.

Faith-based school funding

No. This should not happen. There should be a level playing field. Remove funding for Catholic schools.
