September 2005

I finally have my web site back up and running! Come back often for my opinions on world events.

Terry Fox Run

I will be running on Sunday September 18th for the Terry Fox Run. Here is a link if you would like to make donations.

Carol Levesque - Terry Fox Run

I am running in the 5 km race. I'm not prepared enough to do the 10 km yet. Hopefully next year!

Rapper Rant

I'm not a big fan of Kanye West, but I'm glad he had the balls to say his opinion on NBC last night:

Washington Post

I agree with Kanye West, especially the following:

I hate the way they portray us in the media. You see a black family, it says, "They're looting." You see a white family, it says, "They're looking for food."

New Workout

I'm starting a new workout this week. Going back to 2 day split. Today I am going to the YMCA and working on Torso (Chest Press Machine, Lat Pull Down, Roman Chair (lower back), and Barbell Front Raise).
I will be going on the crosstrainer 3 times a week (35 minutes each time) and I will be running 3 times a week (30 minutes each time).
I also hope to get in some pilates at least twice a week. Tomorrow I will be working out at home and doing legs and arms (Split Squats, Alternating Hammer Curl, Overhead Tricep Press, and Walking Heel Raise).
Fun stuff!

Sharia Law

Here are some news articles regarding Ontario possibly upholding Sharia Law:

A quote from the article:

Boyd recommends that Muslims in Ontario should have the same rights as other religious groups such as Christians and Jews which have used faith-based arbitration to settle family disputes since 1991.

I know. It's about time I had her on here. Well she is in the news again.

Macworld UK

IGN Insider

Her whole catalogue is going to be on iTunes. I guess I better get an account!

Summer Movies Season

Well the summer movie season is over.

Here is the list of movies I saw this summer:

Star Wars III : Revenge of the Sith
The 40 Year Old Virgin

The Aristocrats
Batman Begins
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Dukes of Hazzard
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
The Interpreter

Didn't meet my expectations:
Bad News Bears
War of the World

The Island

Removal of Religion in Arbitration

Well I guess enough people bitched.

This is great news! Although many people are not happy with how McGuinty has handled the Sharia Law. I'm not happy with how he has handled most things, but I believe that religion has no place in a court of law.
